~November!~

We have had LOTS of Company!

We have had visitors from Florida, (The Royce's then Bob's cousin Jim Miller) and also from Missouri!(Jeremy, Ellen and the girls again!)Woohoo!!! Busy busy busy!!!

I can't even tell exactly when everyone came and left but I do know the order! First Grandma and Grandpa Royce came to visit us! They dropped in and totally surprised me! You see. Good ol' Marvin Royce likes to say "We might come visit" but not actually do it, so when we were in Florida in September I took it worth a partial grain of salt and did not dream it would really happen! Lets just say that when they came it was a BIG surprise and I was totally shocked! Do it again Grandpa!!! We had a great visit. They went out to the woods with us and found out just why we are in love with this place. We loved the visit and hope they can do so again.

Right after they left we had Bob's cousin Jim Miller come for a week. Boy did the kids enjoy that! You would have thought that Jim was their own personal buddy to leach onto! It was fun having him with us. The kids played with him as much as they could. He brought an electrical, zapping, badmittion type racket. Of course they loved it!! I believe that Hannah and Josiah fell victim to the sting from it, but that did not stop them from returning with metal objects to touch it and watch it spark. Oh the joys of electricity! he he! Jim helped Bob get a lot of our household projects finished while he was here. They got our duct work fixed from our AC unit that our lovely, cat, Sam destroyed. (Long story. I'll tell you about it if you email/call me. he he!) They did several other things, like the replacing of the toilet seal, relocating some of my cabinets, planting bulbs, ect.. but the thing that has made my own personal life nicer is the fact that I have a new dishwasher after several months of needing one that works! (Another long story. ha ha ha!) It sure is nice having it's help around here! Honestly we thought that Jim might want a break from work, but he is one who likes to stay busy and to be a blessing. He really was that while he was here and I don't know how to express my greatfulness. Thank you Jimmy!

After Jim left (Two days after) Jeremy, Ellen and the girls came to visit. They would be here for Thanksgiving with us!Woohoo! Unfortunately they came after fighting terrible colds and were very tired, and when they got here our little Benjamin had the croup. That very day we had to take him into the Dr to get something to help him. It was the hardest case of croup I had seen in a very long time and he had difficulty breathing by early morning, so to avoid another night like that, we got him some medication that helped him emensly. We had a great time when they were here. I am so glad they decided to come. We even went "After Thankisgiving day shopping" and had a mini Christmas with them the day they left! Jeremy helped out with wood cutting of those humungous logs that are linked on September's page, and also culling some of our rabbit herd. His girls were so engrosed in the project. Ellen on the other hand was just grossed about it. She would not dare become one of the young enthusiastic viewers. he he he! Not that I really blame her.  Many outtings in the woods were made to try to scout out some deer, with nothing to prove our hunting capabilities this year. Sad. Soo so sad. Oh well, Maybe next year? In the meantime we did eat some rabbit and some of the deer we have left over from last year. We really enjoyed eachother's company. The kids really enjoyed each other, and they miss the girls terribly now. Especially Hannah. She enjoyed having the girls around. That girl needs a sister!

Well, it is November 26th and all I can think to say is that I am warm in my house with all of this wonderful firewood keeping us warm.

I will include pictures so that you all can see some of the kids in their lovely new P.J's

Picture Page here.

We love you all!

Hope you all had a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!
