Samuel is two!
Happy Birthday little boy!
Samuel was born at
home on April 13th 2002.
He had a rough
start, and we actually thought we might have lost him at first.
Well, the tough
little boy has made it to the age of two and is perfectly healthy!
On his second
birthday, we went out to Ci Ci’s pizza, where he loaded up on pizza and had
himself a good sized chocolate brownie for desert. We had Marvin and Kathy
Royse with us and “Grandma Kathy” brought along a can of cherries, which she
had the infamous cherry pizza made for Samuel.
By the end of our
day, Samuel was tuckered out, but he had fun too.
The next day he
was all rested up, played with his toys very well.
We thank God daily
for our children, they are His blessings to us,
so we try very hard to raise them properly so
they will live for Him.
Samuel’s rough
start is in some ways a bad memory, yet in other ways they are good.
The day he was
born and I thought I might lose him. I found out how much I really do rely on
Christ.
It was an eye
opener for me. It also reminded me that my job as Mommy is a very important
one.
“Thank you Lord,
for these children, and the opportunity to be able to stay home and care for
them.
They are life’s
truest blessings to both Bob and myself.”
